Description The course provides a comprehensive, critical analysis of the international legal mechanisms for resolving disputes. In particular, it provides a review of the basic principles of the UN system of peaceful dispute settlement, including legal protection in the International Court of Justice, dispute settlement options of the International of the Law of the Sea Convention, structure, jurisdiction and individual procedures of the European Court of Justice and functions, objectives and key features of the WTO dispute settlement system
